Jennifer Lawson is a Canadian artist well-known for her beautiful watercolours. For over 25 years, she has been mixing pure colours with clear water to capture her intimate vision of a world of softened light.

Celebrating “A 50-Year Retrospective” at the Cowichan Valley Arts Council has been a beautiful journey. To those who visited the gallery, I thank you. Your presence and kind words reminded me of why I first picked up a brush. To those who purchased my art, I am deeply honoured that my work has found a place in your homes to continue its story.
While this retrospective celebrated five decades of work, the brushes are far from dry. As we move deeper into this year, I invite you to keep a watchful eye on this space for something new in 2026. I look forward to sharing the next chapter of my creative journey with you all.
